Best Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Equipment
- 8x8 Baking Pan
Ingredients
Peanut Butter Layer:
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter almond butter or sunbutter can also be used
- 1/3 cup maple syrup use Lakanto Sugar-free Maple Syrup for Keto option
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour or 1 & 1/4 cups oat flour, certified gluten-free
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup peanut butter almond butter or sunbutter can also be used
Instructions
Peanut Butter Layer:
- In a medium-sized bowl, using a mixer or a food processor mix the peanut butter, maple syrup, salt and flour until well combined.
- Press mixture into an 8×8 dish.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer:
- Add chocolate chips and remaining peanut butter into a microwave safe dish and microwave on 30 second increments until chips are melted about 2 - 2 & 1/2 minutes.
- Pour melted chocolate peanut butter mixture over peanut butter layer.
- Place in freezer for one hour, then cut and serve.
- Keep stored in fridge or freezer.

- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup, add a little more if needed
- 3/4 cup oat flour certified gluten-free or 1 cup almond flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
