How to Heat Treat Flour
Oven: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spread the flour out onto a large baking sheet. Bake for about 5 minutes, making sure thee flour is not browned or toasted looking. Ensure that the flour reached an internal temperature of 160F by using an instant read thermometer.
Microwave: Place flour in a microwave safe bowl or dish. Heat for 30-45 seconds, up to 1 minute. Check the temperature of the flour using an instant read thermometer of 160F.
