About Bananas!
- Bananas are one of the best superfood fruits to use in desserts because they are so popular and there are a million recipes out there that you can use bananas in.
- Bananas are a prime source of potassium. Because it’s an electrolyte, potassium helps your muscles recover from a workout, strengthens their development, and allows you to work out more. It helps fight off depression because of mood-boosting B9, also known as folate.
- Also low in sodium, the fruit is officially recognized by the FDA as being able to lower blood pressure and protect against heart attack and stroke.
- Bananas’ potassium also increases bloat-fighting bacteria in the stomach, which can help diminish retention of fluids, making you feel fuller.
