This is a super easy recipe, and one that is hard to go wrong with. You can serve it to your friends who may not know you’re eating vegan and tell them afterwards. They may not believe you!

Vegan ‘Meatball’ Subs

Vegan 'Meatball' subs are super simple to make and delicious!

  • 1 pkg Meatless Meatballs
  • 8-10 oz Marinara Sauce
  • Vegan Cheese Slices or Vegan Shredded Cheese
  • Hoagie Rolls
  • Pickles optional
  • Sauerkraut optional
  • Jalapeno rings optional
  • Fresh Cilantro optional
  • Fresh Mango cubes optional. We tried and enjoyed it!


  • Place meatless meatballs and marinara in saucepan and cook on low/medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
  • While meatballs are cooking in the sauce, heat oven to 375°.
  • After meatballs are ready, open hoagie rolls and place meatballs with sauce into hoagie rolls.
  • Place vegan cheese on top of hoagie rolls and bake for 4 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and add any optional extras.
