Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 ½ cups frozen blueberries (approx. 360ml)
  • ¾ cup dairy-free milk of choice add more if needed (approx. 180ml)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt (approx. 80ml)
  • 1 scoop vegan protein powder

Toppings

  • granola
  • fresh blueberries
  • fresh bananas
  • chia seeds
  • almonds
  • walnuts
  • hemp seeds

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients you want to incorporate into your blueberry banana smoothie bowl (see optional variations) to a high-speed blender and blend everything together until it is smooth and creamy.
  • Scrape down the sides as needed and if the smoothie is too thick to your liking, add a 1/4 cup more of milk. The less milk, the more it's like an soft serve smoothie.
  • Transfer smoothie into a bowl.
  • Top the smoothie bowl with your favorite toppings and enjoy while it's still cold!

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings to your liking! You can also add a handful of spinach for an extra boost of nutrients.
