2cupsdairy-free chocolate bar, chopped + 2 tablespoons
1teaspooncoconut extractoptional, if you want more coconut flavor
1 1/2cupsshredded coconutadd more for tops
Instructions
Line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, add the coconut condensed milk and chopped chocolate. Microwave it in 20-second increments until the chocolate has just melted.
Remove the bowl from the microwave and whisk the two ingredients together until smooth.
Quickly add in the coconut and transfer the mixture into the lined pan.
Refrigerate for at least an hour, until it has firmed up. Slice into 24 bars.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate. Store in the refrigerator for optimal texture.
