1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 180g ½ cup organic sugar 100g 1 tsp baking powder 4g ½ tsp baking soda 2g ¼ tsp salt 1g ¾ cup vegan milk 180ml ¼ cup maple syrup 60ml ¼ cup oil 60ml 1 tsp vanilla extract 5ml ¼ cup vegan chocolate chips 45g

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your donut tray.
In a stand mixer or large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low until evenly combined.
Add the vegan milk, maple syrup, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix on medium speed until the batter is smooth, but do not overmix.
Spoon the batter into the donut tray, filling each slot about ¾ full.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the donuts cool in the tray for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
