¼teaspoonsalt1.5 g
Optional: pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut all the brussels sprouts in half and place them in a bowl or ziplock bag.
Arrange the brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, cut side down, to help them brown.
Roast in the oven for 20 minutes.
For even browning, turn the sprouts over halfway through roasting.
During the last 10 minutes, add any optional ingredients, like dried cranberries, if desired.
Notes
Crispiness Tip: For extra crispy Brussels sprouts, make sure they’re spaced out on the baking sheet, not overlapping. Crowding can cause them to steam instead of roast.
Add Flavors: Experiment with seasonings like garlic powder, smoked paprika, or even a drizzle of balsamic vinegar after roasting for extra flavor.
Adjust Cooking Time: If your sprouts are larger, they may need an extra 5–10 minutes in the oven to reach that perfect, golden-brown finish.
Storage Tip: Roasted Brussels sprouts can soften when refrigerated, so reheat them in the oven or air fryer to bring back some crispiness.
